Jamie is an Abstract Painter and Music Composer living in Olinda.
In 2010, he began to explore abstract expressionist painting, which developed a visual style that explores the movement of form in nature, developing techniques that manipulate paint without “touching” the canvas.

He has also spent the past 35 years composing music across multiple genres for film and other projects.

Jamie runs a small music studio and art practice where the painting is created largely outside. Leaf blowers, straws, and pouring are all aspects of paint application used to create flow and replicate the patterns in Nature.

In the studio, there are videos played of Jamie’s meditation music and films where he focuses on the minute particulars in Nature.
