Tamara Desiatov - Multidisciplinary Artist
Tamara grew up in Dandenong of Russian parentage before moving to Western Australia for 20 years and then back to Melbourne and the Dandenong Ranges. Themes such as environment, identity, icons, patterns continue to influence her practise. Tamara was recently involved in creating a mural for the Blacksmiths Lane Street Art Project. Tamara’s recent work involves documenting fungi through animation.
Tamaras studio is located in the heart of Belgrave and just a short 8 minute walk from Belgrave Station – between Puffing Billy Railway and Sherbrooke Forest. The studio will be transformed over the Open Studios weekend to welcome visitors and guests. Tamara works across multimedia, including – film, design, animation as well as printmaking, paint, photography, woodwork, recycled plastic, and more!
Parking Instructions: There are 4 Parking bays available in the main driveway and 2 spaces available at 26 Old Monbulk Road. Additional parking is available across the road at Trees Adventure.
