Kylie’s practice is centered on making sculptural artist books that explore the themes of beauty, loss and the interior landscape. She uses finely detailed and engraved lino blocks to print by hand onto Japanese papers and binds the pages with thread.

Visitors will able to view the contemporary print studio of Empress at work creating and carving linocuts which are then both hand printed and on my etching press. Kylie’s work is exhibited in galleries all over Australia and held in various collections.
