Liberty is a mixed media artist who mainly works across painting, drawing and ceramics. Her particular interest is local landscape and she enjoys exploring ideas about light and expressive colour. She is currently working to expand her practice toward more abstracted interpretations and is creating large multi panelled works with shifting viewpoints.

Liberty usually works on several things at once and can be seen using a variety of media, such as oil pastels, paint and ceramics. She creates starting points for artworks through rambles in the bush, drawing in the landscape and taking photographs. Liberty’s studio contains her sources of inspiration, works in progress and finished works. It is a colourful place.
