George Manioudakis is a multi-disciplinary visual artist whose diverse art practice sees him working in acrylics, oils and spray paint both in the studio and on the streets. George is currently exploring the materiality of paper through the process of layering. The assemblages fabricate a series of non-uniform, undulated surfaces activated with luminous, transient colour compositions.

At Studio 22, what started as a humble shed behind Ticker Art Studio has been transformed by George’s major renovation in 2023, which included enveloping the entire exterior in one of his distinctive eye-catching murals. Whilst Ticker may have temporarily relocated, you can still find George keeping the heart of Belgrave ticking in this central location opposite Puffing Billy station. Visitors will be treated with a display of finished pieces inside, as well as the opportunity to pick up a spray can and participate in one of George’s sought-after stencil art workshops.
