James is a multi-disciplinary photographer, currently exploring human interaction with the camera through portraiture.

James has ‘everyday’ people sit for him in the studio, pushing himself to dwell outside his comfort zone. At a certain point, barriers start to disappear and real connections begin to form. This is when the images start to come to life. The camera is forgotten and human expression and vulnerability are revealed.
