Paula Power is a detailed figurative artist. She is enamoured with the magic of nature; its beauty, its magic, its necessity in our lives. Using the rainbow trees of our alpine landscape as inspiration, she is creating a children’s book and exploring handmade paper items and objects.

Rainbows are transient. But this one wants to be there forever. The story is written and illustrations are appearing; figurative delights of native flora and fauna, colour and people of all sizes. You will find paintings and cards, paper, water coloured pencils, paper pulp and more water. Alongside book illustrations I explore handmade paper.
