Glenda Wise - Artist/Illustrator/Author
Glenda is a local artist, illustrator, author and adventurer, and has been a private art tutor for over 30 years. As a writer, her book ‘The World is your Pearl’ covers her extreme adventure travels, while sixty watercolours of ‘Pearl Fairies’ stand proudly amongst quotes, sayings and various random writings, both profound and nonsensical on which to meditate, on love, life, death, emotions, kindness, conduct, nature, beauty of the soul, creativity, wisdom and human connection, in her ‘Pearls of ‘Wisedom’ books; and her Fairy characters can be seen in four ‘Fairy Green’ children’s books.
Glenda’s private studio is a tranquil working space where her large oil paintings line the walls, and where she currently produces drawings and watercolour illustrations for her children’s story books, cards and games. You may see the large easel taken directly from that of Sir Arthur Streeton whose studio she worked in before she had a space of her own.
